FEYNLAB® PANEL PREP
FEYNLAB® PANEL PREP is a deep cleaning final step to paint correction. Affectionately known as “Paint Correction Truth Serum,” it removes all polish residue, oils, fillers, and topical contamination from exterior vehicle surfaces, exposing the true condition of surfaces. After a thorough wipe down with Panel Prep, surfaces are ready for final inspection before a ceramic coating or other topical protection application.
Traditional Alcohol based cleaners can only remove light oils. They are no match for the the heavier petroleum based carrier oils and filling components and of most compounds & polishes.
PANEL PREP’s solvent based formulation is engineered to work in two main ways. First the formula physically attaches to light, medium, and heavy carrier oil, filling agents, and other contamination particles to assist in their complete removal. Second, the actives within the formulation work to chemically break down, or dissolve, the attaching bonds of contamination particles. This allows for a deeper level of contamination removal, a squeaky clean surface, and the ability to see the surface’s true condition.
Product Benefits:
- PANEL PREP easily removes all surface oils or filling agents, revealing the true state of a surface.
- Use of Panel Prep cleans surfaces completely, ensuring optimal bonding of FEYNLAB® or any coating.
- Also works as an excellent streak free glass cleaner

One of the most important factors to getting a quality install with a ceramic coating is perfectly squeaky-clean paint, free of all oils and remnants from compounding and polishing both above and below the paint’s surface. Prior to FEYNLAB Panel Prep, I was using either an IPA & surfactant mixture or a panel wipe. I learned quickly after using FEYNLAB Panel Prep for the first time that the other methods left a lot of hidden residue behind. I am confident now that I am getting the cleanest surface possible and feel safe knowing my coating is going to last.

“Truth serum” is spot on, this panel prep truly lets you know if your paint correction was on point. I’ve found water behavior on installed coatings to be maximized when vehicles were prepped with this product.

Truth Serem is well titled.
We at Toxix Detailing started with Griot’s Garage Panel Cleaners and Cleansers, then moved to IGL’s PreCoat and finally landed on Panel Prep after being introduced to Feynlabs line.
This stuff is serious business, cleans way faster and more thoroughly than any product we’ve ever used, cleans off all fillers, greases, oils, etc.
We’ve also found it to be a very good cleaner for some stubborn stains found on paint here and there.
Follow the instructions clearly!

I have tried many panel prepping agents over the years and man this is the best! It will tell you if you did a good or bad job correcting paint. This stuff will pull out any defects that werent completely corrected out by oily polishes or hidden by swelled paint. The surface feels truly bare and ready for coating after using this. IPA’s and Wax/Grease removers can’t even compare to this stuff. ITs legit!

Great prep agent!
Breaks down polish great and smells good as well.

Best panel prep I have found! When testing if polish has fillers we call it “Truth Serum” it will remove everything and show you what you acually did to the paint.

By far the best panel prep out there. Doesn’t lay down surfactants like all the others out there and can also be used to pull the white/wax out of plastic trim! Amazing product.

It’s all in the preparation. If you have ever installed a coating then you know the importance of having the perfect surface before you coat. Panel Prep gets it done! I have tried others, this is the one I use in my shop.

Excellent panel prep! I recently had a client go around and mark scratches on their paint with a grease pen prior to my arrival and this got it off quick and easy. It’s a must have before and after paint corrections to ensure a proper bond of coatings and sealants. Love it.

The best prep for coating jobs, residue wipes away gently reducing the chance for swirls after you have done paint correction. The surface is spotless once the prep is wiped off, you can coat with peace of mind that the surface will cross link properly and the coating will perform at its best.

Absolutely the best panel prep on the market. When I first used it, I sprayed it very liberally on the surface and tried to buff off with a single plush Korean towel and it wouldn’t flash off at all, I had to keep buffing and buffing. After reading the suggested use and doing it with the two towel method, while also cutting back on the amount I use, the experience while using it is completely different. Gives me absolute confidence that the panel is bare before moving onto coating. Also, the smell reminds me of a swimming pool!
